iOS APP

CellarApp

A wine cellar that knows what you have, what it cost, and when to drink it. In TestFlight rounds, not yet released.

A spreadsheet is a fine cellar book right up until the day it is not: a few hundred bottles in, the questions change from what do I own to what should I open tonight, what is past its window, and what did this case actually cost once I stopped pretending shipping was free.

CellarApp is built around those questions. Bottles go in by label photograph rather than by typing, the drinking window is tracked rather than remembered, and the valuation is the one you paid rather than the one a retailer is asking today.

Where it is

Stage

TestFlight, running in numbered rounds against a bug list. Not on the App Store.

Built with

SwiftUI and SwiftData on the device, Supabase behind it for auth, storage and the functions that do the work a phone should not.

Why it is listed

It is where the advisory practice keeps its hands dirty. Shipping a real app to real testers is a different discipline from advising someone else to, and the gap between the two is where most AI strategy goes wrong.

Want to test it? Ask for a build.

What Google Analytics collects

Two cookies, _ga and _ga_C1QMVN71V1, which last up to two years and let us tell a returning visitor from a new one. It records which pages you looked at, roughly where in the world you are, and which site sent you here. Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so this is a count of reading, not an advertising audience.

If you turn it off

Both cookies are deleted immediately and nothing further is sent to Google. No script from googletagmanager.com is requested on any page you load after that. The site works the same either way. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, analytics is already off and we never asked.

What runs either way

Cloudflare, which serves this site, runs its own analytics beacon. It sets no cookies and does not identify you. We also log requests for pages that do not exist, with the page that linked to them, so broken links get found and fixed.

The contact form is separate

What you type into the contact form is emailed to us and used to answer you. It does not go to Google, to analytics, or to a marketing list.
